Job summary

UCB S.A. is seeking an Account Executive Sr. - Neuromuscular for the District of Columbia (DC) Washington territory. The AE will engage with physicians, clinics, and payers to advance Rare Disease initiatives and support patient access to UCB products.

The role requires extensive field-based sales experience in biopharma with a strong Rare Disease and neurology focus, plus the ability to leverage multichannel strategies and partnerships with payers and advocacy groups.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of field-based experience in sales, account management, and/or field reimbursement in biopharmaceuticals or healthcare, incl. 5+ years in a competitive specialty market segment.
• 4+ years of Rare Disease experience in pharmaceuticals/biologics with Buy-and-Bill, Specialty Pharmacy and HUB delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Exceed territory sales objectives with ethics and integrity.
• Advocate for Rare Disease patients and support physicians, pharmacists and other providers.
• Create and execute strategic business plans reflecting local market conditions.
• Master disease states with deep understanding of patient journeys and treatment drivers.
• Grow expertise with payers, hospital systems, labs, and other care continuum components.
• Maintain payer landscape relationships to maximize access and affordability.
• Foster relationships with patient advocacy groups to support education and awareness.
