• Registration/check-in processes and data entry for patients.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains referrals and authorizations.
• Collects patient liabilities and explains financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and collects signatures per policy.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains referrals and authorizations.
• Collects patient liabilities and explains financial policies.
• Enters payments and balances cash drawer daily.
• Schedules appointments and maximizes payer reimbursement within plan provisions.
• Communicates with patients, staff and care teams to ensure smooth flow.
• Responds to requests for medical records per policy.
