Atrius Health in eastern Massachusetts is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with routine procedures and tests in the exam room. You will prepare patients, take vital signs, and ensure the EMR is up to date.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or MA certification required.
• Computer experience required.
• BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient flow of patients to optimize appointment availability.
• Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms according to policy and procedures.
• Prepare patient for examination; Measures vital signs (BP, pulse, weight, height).
• Assist clinicians with routine procedures and tests; inform patients of prep requirements.
• Ke Highlights EMR updates: demographics, medications, allergies, visits, and lab results.
• Reconcile medications and set up pending refills; discontinue inactive prescriptions.
