Atrius Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in an active care environment in eastern Massachusetts. You will prepare patients for exams, measure vital signs, and assist with routine procedures, ensuring accurate EMR documentation and smooth patient flow.

Strong computer and EMR skills are required. Prior clinical or customer service experience is preferred, with BLS certification desired or obtainable within 30 days.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate or Medical Assistant Certification.
• Computer experience required.
• EMR experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Experience typically acquired through a minimum of one-year prior experience in a clinical or customer service setting, or a bachelor’s/associate degree may substitute for experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provides efficient flow of patients to optimize appointment availability.
• Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for examination; measure vital signs (BP, pulse, weight, height).
• Assist clinicians with routine procedures and pre-visit testing as needed.
• Ensure EMR is up to date with medications, allergies, and visit notes.
