Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager in the Tacoma area to join a high-performance sales team.

The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services. The position requires strong selling skills, territory knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction for product promotion.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease state, and market reimbursement.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation (budgets, time) within territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budgets.
• Fulfill monitoring/reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting.
• Maintain compliance with laws and Vanda Policies.
