Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager in Seattle to join a high-performance sales team. The role focuses on delivering value through differentiated therapies and adherence to company strategy.

The candidate will work with the Neuroscience District Sales Manager to execute plans, build relationships, and drive product access in the designated territory, while maintaining compliance and reporting accurately.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Self-starter with driven results track record.
• Hunter mentality with competitive drive.
• Strong relationships and territory knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel (overnights possible).
• Overt commitment to compliance and professional credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products per sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day activities and strategy.
• Analyze local market, monitor performance, and maximize product use.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, disease, competition, and reimbursement.
• Manage resources including budgets and time within the territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budgets; complete all reporting.
• Maintain compliance with laws and Vanda policies.
