Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is hiring an Associate Neurology Account Manager / Neurology Account Manager in Washington, DC. This role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services.

The position requires a BS/BA with GPA >3.0, valid driver's license, and strong results orientation with willingness to travel. On-site work with potential HQ interactions and promotional budget management are included.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Self-starter with goal- and results-driven attitude.
• Willingness to travel including overnights.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote products per sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day strategy and activities.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified audiences.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels to support product access and reimbursement.
