Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Los Angeles, CA seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation across home, school, work, and community settings. The role emphasizes real-life goals and autonomous practice within a collaborative team of therapists.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and adapt care to patients with neurological injuries, promoting safe home and community activities and ongoing progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum one year of physical therapist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with safe procedures.
• Duties require standing/walking for extended periods and ability to move/transfer patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and make recommendations for home and community safety; provide resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improved outcomes.
