Join Cleveland Clinic Health System's Neurological Institute as we expand into a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor facility designed to advance care for patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders and spinal conditions.

As part of this growth, we are hiring multiple Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) to support surgical services and neurological care teams across a variety of shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service-related role.
• Typing or computer training or equivalent coursework.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and orients newly admitted and transferred patients.
• Responds to patient call lights to expedite follow-up.
• Makes rounds on patients during hospital stay.
• Facilitates communication among patients, families, departments and health care teams.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.
