Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant – Care Partner for Neuro Acute Care on the Full-Time Day Shift. The Care Partner supports the care team by assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include promoting a positive patient experience, effective communication with the team and families, and contributing to safe, patient-centered care on a busy unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preferred Rising Senior in related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to document.
• Ability to follow detailed directions and work in a team.
• Flexibility to function in fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Monitor and report patient status; document in EMR.
• Support nursing team and maintain safety and HIPAA practices.
• Participate in hourly rounding and care coordination.
