Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is seeking a Lead Care Partner- Advanced in Acute Care – Neuro for a full-time day shift. The CP-A assists the nursing team with ADLs, vital signs, basic nursing duties and advanced procedures to promote a positive patient experience.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under supervision of a Registered Nurse. BLS certification is required; CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• Rising Senior in Good Standing General or High School Diploma General.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse (ADLs, ambulation).
• Transport specimens, equipment, medications, blood products to and from the assigned unit.
• Answers call lights and telephone promptly and notifies appropriate individual of need for follow-up.
• Performs advanced technical procedures: phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG, dressing changes, oral suctioning, discontinuing indwelling urinary catheters and intermittent urinary catheters, initiating telemetry monitoring, discontinues peripheral IV catheters.
