Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Care Partner to support nursing staff and promote a positive patient experience. You will assist with ADLs, vital signs, and rounds, under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

The role requires compassionate service, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have a HS diploma or GED and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supports an environment of healing and wellness as directed by the care plan.
• Contributes to the plan of care or treatment based on assigned tasks and patient/family input.
• Implements safety interventions to minimize risk and protects patient rights and dignity.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and recommended privacy procedures.
• Participates in hourly patient rounds and responds to calls promptly.
• Assists RN and healthcare team with care delivery and direct patient admission as assigned.
• Monitors key patient safety information and documents appropriately in the EMR.
• Performs audits and supports unit operations as requested.
