Job summary

JW Affinity IT in Marietta, United States, is seeking a Network Technician with 3–5 years of experience to handle MAC activities, network modifications, and testing of equipment. The role requires monitoring network performance, resolving tickets, and supporting after-hours maintenance windows to keep services running smoothly.

You'll work with network gear in data centers and offices, configure switches, and assist with documentation, diagrams, and asset tools.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Network Technician.
• Experience performing MAC activity and port activations.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ServiceNow.
• Availability for maintenance windows including after hours.
• Strong fault detection and repair skills in a data network.

Responsibilities

• Move/Add/Change (MAC) network modifications (physical and logical).
• Respond to ITSM/ServiceNow tickets; diagnose, document, and resolve issues.
• Assist with installation/modification of network infrastructure.
• Monitor network activity and manage lines per schedule.
• Test equipment, verify repairs, ensure security compliance.
