Job summary

JW Affinity IT in Titusville, FL seeks a Senior Network Technician to support and maintain our clients' network infrastructure. You will handle MAC moves, configuration of Cisco switches, and wireless components, while acting as the first ITSM/ServiceNow contact for incidents and requests.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong Cisco networking skills, and ability to work on-site with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

Five+ years as Network Technician with at least CCNA or CCNP
MAC/MOC changes and port activations in network closet
Move/add/change activities including wiring and switch tweaks
First responder to ITSM/ServiceNow tickets and related duties
Set up, test, and repair network assets; verify compliance with security rules
Advanced Cisco switch configuration (layer 2/3) and wireless support (WAPs/WLCs)

Responsibilities

Install/upgrade network assets (switches, routers, firewalls, testing devices) in data closets
Configure switches and tools/testing devices
Patch circuits into switches and optimize port usage
Monitor network alerts and respond to issues
Coordinate with customers and vendors daily
Maintain AutoCAD/Visio drawings and network documentation
Support after-hours maintenance windows and break/fix actions
RMA activities and asset management
