Job summary

JW Affinity IT seeks a Network Technician to perform MAC activities, install and configure network assets, and respond to ITSM tickets. The role requires hands-on networking, documentation, and participation in maintenance windows.

The candidate will work with switches/routers, contribute to data-center setups, and maintain drawings. We value 3–5 years of experience, strong troubleshooting, and familiarity with ITSM processes.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Network Technician.
• MAC, moves, adds and changes across physical and logical network layers.
• Ability to configure switches/routers and modify network devices.
• Experience with ITSM ticketing and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ITSM/Service Now tickets, document actions, and close tickets.
• Physically install and configure network assets in data centers and closets.
• Monitor network activity and respond to alerts per SLA.
• Assist with on-call maintenance windows and break/fix activities.
• Update network drawings and documentation files (AutoCAD/Visio).
