Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Network Support Technician to replace, install, troubleshoot, and coordinate network equipment across remote sites. This role blends hands-on hardware work with deployment coordination, documentation, and basic project support.

You will replace routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless gear, verify cabling and power, and assist with staging, testing, and vendor coordination. Effective communication and collaboration with site personnel and internal teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in maintaining, analyzing and repairing network hardware.
• Experience installing, testing and maintaining network equipment.
• Ability to document processes, configurations and installation steps.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and internal teams on installations.

Responsibilities

• Replace and install network equipment at sites, including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Verify cabling, power and installation materials before deployment.
• Coordinate staging, labeling, configuration, shipping and returns of equipment.
• Verify connectivity and equipment functionality after installation.
• Provide remote and onsite technical support and assist with problem escalation.
