Job summary

Scale Computing INC is seeking a Deployment Technician to execute and support customer installation projects for managed services deployments, configuring network hardware, and providing real-time support. This role demands attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle remote and on-site installations (firewalls, switches, wireless APs), coordinate with teammates, document work, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in deployments, IT support, or field services.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, switch configurations).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage remote sessions and coordinate effectively across teams.
• Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, and DaySmart.

Responsibilities

• Install and support network hardware via remote and on-site deployments.
• Coordinate with field technicians and customers to track milestones and ensure timely completion.
• Adhere to SOPs, install guides, and deployment tools with accurate documentation.
• Update statuses in Jira, DaySmart, and related systems; escalate issues when needed.
• Contribute to documentation, onboarding, and cross-department collaboration.
• Support overnight or off-hours schedules as required.
