Job summary

AWS Core Networking's Network Fabric Engineering team seeks a Network Development Engineer to build, deploy and scale the Amazon networks that support EC2, S3, and customers across multiple data centers.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, and operate in a 24x7 on-call environment to ensure high availability and performance of global networks in Seattle and nearby data centers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years Linux/Unix environment experience.
• 1+ years of automation scripting (Python/Bash/Shell/Perl)

Responsibilities

• Create and implement network changes.
• Collaborate with automation teams to scale tooling.
• Lead network projects in sustaining, deployment, scaling, refresh, and optimization.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network routes, interconnects, platforms, and configurations.
• Document deployments and create knowledge transfer materials.
