Job summary

Acestack is seeking a Network Engineer in Olathe, KS to lead advanced network support across LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains. You will implement Cisco ACI or SDA architectures, manage Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, optimize wireless networks, design and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, and administer Infoblox DDI with failover and automation.

Qualifications

• Expert in implementing, and support Cisco ACI (policy model, contracts, EPGs, fabric troubleshooting).
• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls including: Security policies, NAT, routing; VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access); Panorama management and threat prevention profiles.
• Manage and support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability.
• Administer Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) including grid management, failover, and automation integration.
• Lead hands-on P1 troubleshooting for complex network issues across Application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.
• Real-time packet capture skills to investigate complex issues during live P1 calls. (Wireshark)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting Level 3 and advanced network issues during high-pressure factory environments.
• Investigate causes, test solutions and suggest fixes to reduce ticket resolution time.
• Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
• Understand network support priorities and actively contribute to goals.
• Lead operational issues independently in high-pressure situations with multiple stakeholders.
• Assist Level 1 & Level 2 resources in addressing network issues.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively.
• Be resourceful and able to work independently.
• Demonstrate strong time management and attention to detail.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting the Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing call backs ensuring issues are resolved & appropriate solution is provided to the customer in a high pressure factory environments
• Responsible for investigating causes, tests solutions & suggest solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve the network related tickets.
• Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
• Understanding Network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
• Should be able to lead and drive technically the Operational issues on his own in a high pressure environment engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting.
• Help level 1 & level 2 resources to address the Network related issues.
• Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
• Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi‑task activities with shifting priorities.
