Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Reno, Nevada seeks a senior Network Engineer to lead advanced troubleshooting and design across data center, LAN, WAN, and security domains. You will implement Cisco ACI, manage Palo Alto firewalls, IPSec VPNs, Infoblox DDI, and enterprise wireless deployments, while guiding Level 3 support during critical P1 incidents.

Qualifications

• Expert in implementing Cisco ACI and fabric troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Palo Alto Firewalls including NAT, VPN and policies.
• Strong knowledge of VPNs (site-to-site and remote access) and IPsec.
• Proficient with Infoblox DDI and DNS/DHCP/IPAM management.
• Extensive experience with enterprise wireless deployments and RF optimization.
• Proficient in real-time packet capture (Wireshark) for live P1 investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on P1 troubleshooting across application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs and multi-vendor interoperability.
• Manage equipment, upgrades, and grid management for DDI and DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve complex network issues under pressure.
• Mentor Level 1/2 resources and ensure timely, high-quality solutions.

• Expert in implementing, and support Cisco ACI (policy model, contracts, EPGs, fabric troubleshooting).
• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls including:
• Security policies, NAT, routing
• VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access)
• Panorama management and threat prevention profiles
• Manage and support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability.
• Administer Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) including grid management, failover, and automation integration.
• Lead hands‑on P1 troubleshooting for complex network issues across Application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.
• Real‑time packet capture skills to investigate complex issues during live P1 calls. (Wireshark)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting the Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing call backs ensuring issues are resolved & appropriate solution is provided to the customer in a high pressure factory environments
• Responsible for investigating causes, tests solutions & suggest solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve the network related tickets.
• Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
• Understanding Network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
• Should be able to lead and drive technically the Operational issues on his own in a high pressure environment engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting.
• Help level 1 & level 2 resources to address the Network related issues.
• Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
• Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi‑task activities with shifting priorities.
