Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States is seeking a senior network engineer to implement and support Cisco ACI, manage Palo Alto firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM. You will troubleshoot complex issues and lead P1 incidents across data center, application, and WAN domains.

Strong knowledge of routing, switching, BGP/OSPF, and multi-vendor interoperability is required. The role is based in Olathe, KS with a salary range of $95,000 to $135,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Expertise with Cisco ACI or SDA architectures and APIC/ISE integration.
• Experience configuring Palo Alto PAN-OS, Panorama, and VPNs.
• Enterprise WLAN design, RF analysis, and high-density deployments.
• IPsec site-to-site and remote access VPNs in multi-vendor environments.
• DNS/DHCP/IPAM with Infoblox grid management and failover.
• Live packet capture and troubleshooting with Wireshark.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls including:
• Security policies, NAT, routing
• VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access)
• Panorama management and threat prevention profiles
• Manage and support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting the Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing call backs ensuring issues are resolved & appropriate solution is provided to the customer in a high pressure factory environments
• Responsible for investigating causes, tests solutions & suggest solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve the network related tickets.
• Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
• Understanding Network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
• Should be able to lead and drive technically the Operational issues on his own in a high pressure environment engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting.
• Help level 1 & level 2 resources to address the Network related issues.
• Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
