Job summary

Centraprise in Kansas is seeking a senior network engineer to implement and support complex enterprise networks across data centers, WAN, and security domains.

You will design and troubleshoot Cisco ACI/SDA, manage Palo Alto firewalls, Infoblox DDI, and VPNs, while leading live P1 incidents and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Strong routing/switching knowledge, real-time packet captures with Wireshark, and excellent communication are essential for this high-pressure role.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco ACI or SDA, APIC/ISE integration, fabric health, L2/L3 connectivity.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of Level 3 and advanced network issues in high-pressure environments.
• Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM management, grid master, HA, and automation integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on P1 troubleshooting for complex network issues across Application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.
• Perform real-time packet captures (Wireshark) to investigate issues during live P1 calls.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ACI/SDA or equivalent, including policy models, contracts, and EPGs.
• Manage firewall policies, NAT, VPNs (IPsec, site-to-site, remote access) and Panorama management.
• Oversee enterprise wireless networks (Cisco/Aruba) with RF optimization and high-density deployments.

Job description

• - Expert in implementing, and support Cisco ACI (policy model, contracts, EPGs, fabric troubleshooting).
• - Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls including:
  • o Security policies, NAT, routing
  • o VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access)
  • o Panorama management and threat prevention profiles
• - Manage and support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments.
• - Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability.
• - Administer Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) including grid management, failover, and automation integration.
• - Lead hands-on P1 troubleshooting for complex network issues across Application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.
• - Real-time packet capture skills to investigate complex issues during live P1 calls. (Wireshark)

Required Technical Skills

• - Responsible for investigating causes, tests solutions & suggest solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve the network related tickets.
• - Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
• - Understanding Network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
• - Should be able to lead and drive technically the Operational issues on his own in a high pressure environment engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting.
• - Help level 1 & level 2 resources to address the Network related issues.
• - Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.
• - Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
