Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations. You will work with minimal supervision to drive the stability and scalability of our enterprise networks and support automation initiatives.

The role requires data center experience, willingness to travel up to 90% within the region (including international trips), and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to implement and optimize network deployments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of data center experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing and workflows to complete requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, interconnectivity and device configurations.
• Travel up to 90% within the work area; some travel outside may be required internationally.
• Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity (patch panels/cords).
• Specify power and cooling needs; ensure hardware racking/stacking for new gear.
• Participate in migration and rollout of new/updated hardware.
• Move and lift equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operations environment.
• Physical requirements will have reasonable accommodations.
