Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s cloud compute, GPU, and networking services, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and guiding customers and internal teams through troubleshooting.

You will respond to inquiries, investigate platform-level incidents, coordinate with engineering and network teams, and help document best practices to improve support effectiveness in a 24/7

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise technical support or a similar advanced role.
• Strong experience with Linux systems and command-line tooling for troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise networking concepts to diagnose platform‑level issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise customer environments in an IaaS or cloud context.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in high‑pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products, including escalated issues.
• Lead platform incident analysis, perform root cause investigations, and propose preventive actions.
• Coordinate with sysadmin, engineering, networking, and other teams to resolve outages.
• Create and maintain internal knowledge base and support procedures.
• Support enterprise environments, troubleshoot performance, availability, and configuration issues.
• Serve as SME and set diagnostic standards for the support function.
• Participate in 24/7 team-based operations with shift coverage.
