Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement and support LAN and WAN infrastructures across clinical and campus environments. You will lead network projects, ensure performance, reliability and security, and partner with IT teams to align with organizational goals.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Information Systems, 3+ years in networks, and certifications such as MCP or CCNA.

Qualifications

• Three years of network, hardware, software and electronic equipment installation, support and maintenance.
• Two additional years managing Microsoft Windows networks and Active Directory or two years working with routers, switches and firewalls.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Preferred MCP or CCNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, implementation and support of LAN & WAN networks and telecommunications.
• Develops policies and standards to ensure network stability, reliability and security.
• Designs scalable network solutions for clinical and campus environments and plans convergence of voice, video and data.
• Performs troubleshooting of network-based software and hardware problems.
