Job summary

JD Farrell EXEC Search is seeking an Account Manager for Neonatal Medical Devices in the Midwest Territory. The role covers Northern/Central Illinois, Northern Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, with a realistic year-one total compensation of $225,000–$250,000 and a $72,000 base.

You will own the full sales process, build relationships with NICU, L&D, pediatrics, and other hospital leaders, and travel 50–70% across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical device or capital equipment sales experience.
• Demonstrated success selling to hospitals and IDNs.
• A consultative sales approach and the ability to navigate complex purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales process, from prospecting and clinical engagement through closing and post-sale support.
• Grow business within teaching hospitals, IDNs, and other hospitals throughout the territory.
• Build lasting relationships with clinical leaders, supply chain teams, and biomedical engineering stakeholders.
• Develop a territory strategy that advances the existing pipeline and generates new opportunities.
• Manage a multistate territory with approximately 50–70% travel.
