Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is hiring a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based infant hearing screens on-site and educate families about early detection and intervention. Training is provided with annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
• Weekend and national holidays availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on the importance of early intervention.
• Assess each patient for screen readiness before screening.
• Collect data/demographics and document results during each shift; ensure protocol compliance.
• Provide patient/family education and support during screenings and results discussion.
• Upload screen results and billing/state reporting by end of shift; reconcile stats.
