Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of newborn hearing screens and early intervention.
• Collect data/demographics and complete documentation for each screen.
• Ensure screens are performed only when the patient is ready for reliable results.
• Upload screen results and relevant data by the end of each shift.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and coordinate follow-up as needed.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for referred babies where appropriate.
