Job summary

Ride Connection, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dispatcher/Scheduler to coordinate Non-Emergency Medical Transport and Basic Life Support interfacility transfers.

You will manage ambulance schedules, monitor field crews, and communicate with hospitals, partners, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, proactive updates, and strong customer service to ensure safe, timely transport.

Qualifications

• Experience with dispatch or scheduling software such as Ecolane or RouteMatch.
• Excellent communication across phone, radio, chat and written channels.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification within first year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, confirm, and monitor ambulance transport schedules in dispatch software.
• Manage schedule changes including delays, cancellations, and same-day requests.
• Coordinate with hospitals, facilities, and partners on transport schedules and needs.
• Maintain field crew status and readiness while on duty.
• Provide crews with complete transport details, updates, and directions.
• Document key trip times and crew notifications for QA and audits.
• Assist with escalated issues and resource requests as needed.
• Coordinate emergency medical assistance when required and escalate appropriately.
• Receive transport requests from approved sources and verify information.
