Job summary

Southeastrans, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee daily transportation operations for its Non-Emergency Medical Transportation services. You will manage scheduling, fleet utilization, and contract compliance to ensure on-time member trips.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to balance client contracts with operational needs, and the skill to optimize routing and dispatch while maintaining regulatory standards. Previous NEMT or paratransit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of transportation, logistics, dispatch, or operations management experience.
• Experience in NEMT, paratransit, medical transportation, or related transportation services preferred.
• Strong understanding of transportation contracts, service agreements, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to make operational decisions in dynamic environments.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with routing, scheduling, and dispatch software.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Thorough understanding of NEMT operations and industry regulations.
• Ability to interpret and apply contractual requirements to operational decisions.

• Ability to evaluate when operational needs justify deploying drivers outside standard contract areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of transportation contracts, service agreements, broker requirements, and client obligations.
• Ensure services are delivered per contracts, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contract-specific performance metrics and address compliance concerns.
• Evaluate service requests outside standard contract parameters and determine operational responses.
• Provide guidance to dispatchers, supervisors, and drivers regarding contract requirements.
• Oversee daily scheduling, routing, and dispatch operations for timely transportation services.
• Monitor fleet utilization, driver productivity, and service coverage.
• Coordinate responses to disruptions, breakdowns, weather events, and other challenges.
• Develop strategies to improve route efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with providers and facilities to deliver high-quality member trips.
• Resolve escalated service concerns and operational issues.
