Job summary

Credit Union of Texas is seeking a Member Relationship Specialist to be the primary contact for new and existing members at the CUTX branch, delivering needs-based solutions across deposits, loans, and ancillary services.

You will use CUTX-approved AI tools to support needs-based conversations, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold compliance while meeting sales and referral goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in financial services, retail banking, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Experience opening deposit accounts and originating consumer loans preferred.
• NMLS registration required upon hire if originating residential real estate loans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding member service to internal and external members with every interaction.
• Uncover member needs through listening and discovery questions, then recommend products and services.
• Follow up with members to ensure needs are met and identify additional opportunities.
• Handle concerns with empathy and accuracy; escalate when needed.
• Process new memberships, deposit accounts, and loan applications accurately.
• Maintain accurate documentation and required disclosures for compliance.
• Complete compliance, product, and AI training within assigned timeframes.
