Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking an NDT Inspector - Associate to evaluate fabricated materials using ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant methods in a manufacturing setting. The role requires rigorous adherence to quality standards and timely reporting of results.

You will work under a fully certified Level II Inspector, coordinating with the Quality team and production supervisors to meet deadlines and ensure product conformance to contract specifications, while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 5+ years or Associate Degree with 2+ years or Bachelor's degree
• 2 years’ experience in fabricated steel environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations including fraction to decimal conversions
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape, calipers, fillet weld gauges, levels)
• Ability to operate NDT testing equipment
• Level I NDT certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate products for conformance to specifications with integrity
• Interpret NDT reports and assess quality acceptance under supervision
• Maintain NDT reports and records for company and contractors
• Reject material or stop work to minimize risk and loss
• Coordinate with production and safety policies to support production goals
