Job summary

Valmont Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking an NDT Inspector - Associate to evaluate welds and fabricated materials using ultrasonic, mag particle, and penetrant testing. You will generate NDT reports, ensure quality conformance, and coordinate with the Quality Supervisor to meet production goals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or higher with 5+ years of experience or an Associate/Bachelor's degree, plus ability to obtain Level I certification within 90 days and operate NDT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of work/education or Associates with 2+ years, or a Bachelors degree.
• 2 years’ experience in a fabricated steel environment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations, including conversion of fractions to decimals.
• Ability to operate NDT testing equipment and read reports.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the assembly of fabricated materials by dimensional checks and visual inspection of welds.
• Conduct nondestructive testing by ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant methods.
• Generate and maintain NDT reports and records for company and contractors.
• Decide acceptance or rejection of material under the guidance of Level II/III inspectors.
• Coordinate with the Quality area to meet production goals and report issues.
