Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking an NDT Inspector Associate in Valley, Nebraska. The role focuses on evaluating fabricated materials through dimensional checks, visual weld inspection, and non-destructive testing using ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant methods under Level II guidance.

Candidates should have a High School diploma and 5+ years of related experience or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree. Shift-based work with strong attention to quality and safety is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 5+ years of work/educational experience or Associates Degree with 2+ years' experience or Bachelor's Degree.
• 2 years’ experience in fabricated steel environment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations, including conversion of fractions to decimals.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the assembly of fabricated materials by dimensional checks and visual inspection of welds.
• Conduct nondestructive testing by ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant processes.
• Generate and maintain NDT reports and records for company and contractors.
• Coordinate within the Quality area to meet production goals and report issues to the supervisor.
