Valmont Industries, Inc. in Tulsa is seeking an NDT Inspector – Associate to evaluate fabricated materials through dimensional checks, visual weld inspection, and nondestructive testing by ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant methods under Level II guidance.

You will coordinate the Quality area to meet production goals, complete daily paperwork, and generate NDT reports while upholding safety, quality, and environmental policies in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 5+ years experience, or an Associate's with 2+ years, or a Bachelor's degree
• 2 years’ experience in fabricated steel environment
• Basic math, measurement tools (tape, calipers, fillet weld gauges, levels)
• Level I NDT certifications or able to obtain within 90 days
• Operate NDT testing equipment
• Work well with plant staff, supervisors, management and customers
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate products to ensure conformance to specs
• Decide in codes/specs under guidance of NDT Inspector - Intermediate
• Interpret NDT reports and evaluate quality acceptance
• Authority to reject material or stop work to minimize losses
• Work under production conditions with timely completion
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Participate in safety and maintain productive environment
• Report issues to supervisor and coordinate with production
• Generate and maintain NDT reports and records
