Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking an NDT Inspector - Associate to evaluate fabricated materials via dimensional checks, weld visuals, and nondestructive testing (ultrasonic, mag particle, liquid penetrant). Reports to the Quality Supervisor and supports production goals.

The role requires Level I NDT, or ability to obtain within 90 days, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Shifts: 1st or 2nd; starting pay $32.98/hour plus $2 night differential.

Qualifications

• NDT inspection duties including dimensional checks and visual inspection of welds.
• Must have Level I NDT certifications or obtain Level I certification within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to operate NDT testing equipment.
• Ability to work with plant employees, supervisors, management and customers.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the assembly of fabricated materials by dimensional checks and visual inspection of welds.
• Conduct nondestructive testing by ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant processes.
• Coordinate the Quality area to meet production goals.
• Generate and maintain NDT reports and records.
• Maintain workflow with production supervisor and report issues.
