Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at various client sites. This apprenticeship program offers hands-on training to develop a career in asset integrity and inspection with safety and operational excellence at its core.

The role involves setup, material handling, and documentation, with opportunities to advance into other inspection or technical services. Candidates should be prepared to travel and work at diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Must have basic NDT knowledge or familiarity with NDT terminology.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools and equipment safely.
• Must be committed to safety and able to follow site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT) at client sites.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and help secure work areas for radiographic testing where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites and maintain inventory control.
• Complete field reports and timesheets as directed.
