Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in delivering nondestructive testing services at client sites.

This role is a critical first step in a career in asset integrity and inspection, focusing on safety, support, and operational excellence for TEAM’s inspection operations. The successful candidate will assist with setting up inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT), transport equipment, complete field reports, and adhere to safety rules and site protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or GED and be able to obtain safety credentials (TWIC, OSHA 10/30).
• Comfort with fieldwork in industrial environments and willingness to travel.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.).
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites, maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports and timesheets as directed.
• Follow safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging and access equipment setup.
