Job summary

Unitek EMT in San Jose, CA seeks a nursing educator to support BSN/MPEN/VNPN programs and NCLEX prep for students. You will monitor licensure processes, coordinate ATI resources, and work with faculty to improve outcomes.

This on-site role requires campus collaboration and some local travel to Fremont campuses. Join a growing healthcare education organization with a strong focus on student success, KPI-driven outcomes, and partnerships with ATI and state boards.

Qualifications

• RN with current, unencumbered licensure.
• Master's degree in nursing; terminal degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year NCLEX experience or 2 years of academic teaching.
• Experience with nursing practice, mentoring students, and LMS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for online interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for nursing students during and after the program for NCLEX readiness.
• Lead licensure initiatives across VNPN and RN programs with KPI alignment.
• Coordinate student orientation; attend weekly at-risk meetings for exam prep.
• Collaborate with ATI partners to ensure access to resources and remediation.
• Monitor PowerBI dashboards and develop follow-up plans based on exam data.
• Reconcile NCLEX results with BON data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Track NCLEX across campus with Nursing Administration and state boards.
• Mentor ATI Champions and support faculty with ATI CMS exams and NCLEX prep.
