Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Submarine Electrical Engineer in Washington, DC, to provide senior technical expertise for U.S. Navy submarines, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance guidance. You will influence multiple teams and prepare high-level briefs for decision makers.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a relevant engineering degree, and 5 years of DoD/Armed Services experience. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years DoD/Armed Services or related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in team environments and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop/review PMP, PMS, DFS, LARs, SEPM documentation.
• Review engineering drawings on-site and provide recs.
• Develop briefs with essential information for decision makers.
• Coordinate with Program Offices and manufacturers on maintenance.
• Prepare briefs for audiences up to Flag level.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Provide Technical Authority for in-service submarine classes.
• Oversee CBM and RCM engineering practices.
