Serco is seeking a Project Manager in the PORTS program to lead defense-focused projects for Navy customers. The role oversees day-to-day execution, coordinates with the Program Manager and stakeholders, and ensures schedules, budgets, and quality objectives are met.

Strong DoD familiarity and leadership are essential. Candidates should have a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a BS in a relevant field, and at least 5 years of PM experience with software development exposure.

Qualificações

• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects; liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposals for new projects.
