Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts in support of U.S. Navy training systems. You will coordinate with the Program Manager, customers, and project teams to ensure timely, quality deliverables and maintain strong stakeholder communications.

The role requires a US citizenship with potential DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least 5 years of management experience including P&L oversight. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• US citizen eligible for DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Experience with software development projects.
• Strong MS Office and MS Project experience.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
