Serco is seeking a Project Manager to lead the PORTS program in support of the US Surface Navy. The role requires coordinating with the Program Manager, customer, and project team to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality are met while maintaining DoD compliance.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a technical or management field, 5+ years of management experience with P&L, and strong MS Office/MS Project skills; travel up to 10% is expected.

Competenze

• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Travel up to 10%.
• Experience managing software development or HW/SW delivery projects (desired).
• Experience with navy simulation and training systems (desired).
• Current DoD security clearance (desired).
• Experience developing proposals for development or sustainment programs (desired).
• Experience presenting project performance to leadership and customers (desired).
• Experience with quality standards like AS9100/ISO9001/CMMI (desired).

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
