Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to join the PORTS program supporting Navy training systems. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure schedule and quality commitments are met on DoD projects.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, plus at least 5 years of management experience, including P&L responsibility, with familiarity in software development projects and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
Familiar with software development projects.
U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
Review project status, budgets, work products, schedules, and status reports.
Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
