Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts for Navy training systems. You will coordinate with customers and internal teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure DoD-compliant data and reporting.

This role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong background in software development projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of management experience, proficiency with MS Office and MS Project, and the ability to travel up to 10% to support

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
