Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager to lead Navy PORTS program efforts in Middletown, RI. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage schedules, budgets, and communications with the Program Manager, customer, and project team.

The role requires a DoD clearance or ability to obtain one, a bachelor's in a technical or management field, and at least 5 years of management experience including P&L. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management field.
• 5+ years of management experience including profit and loss responsibilities.
• Experience with software development projects is preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
