Job summary

Zolon TTS, LLC in Newport, RI seeks a Financial Systems Analyst II to support Code 70’s mission, providing financial data management, analysis, and reporting across Navy ERP, EDC, and related systems. You will manage WAAP, QER data, and funding controls, ensuring timely and accurate financial documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years of Navy ERP and financial analysis experience, with preferred exposure to EDC/AFDA systems and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum two years with Navy ERP for financial management and reporting.
• Minimum two years in financial analysis, including reporting and budgeting.
• Experience with ERP systems for financial data management and reporting.
• Experience with EDC or AFDA systems preferred.
• Experience supporting project management plans and financial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update project planning data into NUWCDIVNPT Financial Information Systems and SharePoint.
• Support WAAP by identifying sponsor details and tracking packages through approvals.
• Compile monthly QER data by comparing planned vs. actual funding and identify variances.
• Generate and update TPS in NEPS/BEST and track through approvals.
• Respond to data calls with GFI delivering documentation per data call format.
• Prepare weekly financial analyses of program funding and spending against controls.
• Monitor AFDA daily to identify and claim pending funding documents and track approvals.
• Prepare Monthly Expenditure Reports comparing obligations and expenditures to Navy benchmarks.
• Perform weekly financial execution monitoring to identify erroneous charges and cost overruns.
• Support FY Close-Out and Start-Up analyses including spend rate evaluation.
• Research and resolve financial inquiries in ERP and EDC, including de-obligations and carryover status.
• Review and validate purchase requisitions in MMTS to ensure budget alignment.
• Respond to department-wide financial data calls with analysis and recommendations.
