Job summary

Serco is seeking a Systems Administrator in Newport, RI to support the U.S. Navy NUWC division. You will install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, manage security controls, and ensure data integrity across C4I systems worldwide.

You will work on active directory, server infrastructure, and DB systems (Oracle and SQL) with a focus on uptime, backups, and incident response in a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate degree with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing to ensure operability of systems.
• Develop and document SOPs for systems administration.
• Maintain baseline system security per policies.
• Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems.
