Job summary

Serco is seeking a Systems Administrator in the NDW region to support AT/FP programs for the Navy. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, 4+ years’ experience, and expertise in Windows, Active Directory, and STIG compliance.

You will travel ~75%+, install and maintain systems, manage security controls, and provide IA/backup support across DoD networks. NDW-based with Navy Region Mid-Atlantic/Southeast sites; compensation aligns with DoD roles.

Qualifications

DoD Secret Security clearance required or able to obtain.
High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of relevant experience.
CompTIA Security+ (or higher DoD 8570 IAT Level II) certification.
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
Experience with GPO management and data backup solutions (Macrium Reflect).
Experience with vulnerability remediation and STIG configurations for system hardening.
Ability to create SOPs and document designs, requirements, tests, and technical reports.
Familiarity with DoD networking and security accreditation requirements.
Willingness to travel 75% or more; able to work at client sites with variable conditions.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain Windows systems, applications, and accounts; perform backups.
Manage AD/Group Policy and data backup solutions.
Apply security controls, STIGs, and vulnerability remediation.
Follow security policies and support DoD-compliant operations.
Provide lifecycle support for C4I systems and maintain documentation.
Support projects at client sites with travel obligations (75%+).
Collaborate across teams to resolve systems issues and produce SOPs.
