SimVentions in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a systems engineer with an active Secret clearance to support Navy radar programs. You will develop system requirements, perform modeling and analysis, and collaborate with government engineers across the lifecycle.

Travel up to 5 trips annually to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island, VA; occasional Navy Yard/Quantico visits. Candidates typically hold a BS/BA in engineering with ABET accreditation and have extensive systems engineering experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience developing requirements, managing specifications, systems integration, and design verification.
• Experience with radar systems, sensor tech, Navy combat systems or similar defense systems (preferred).
• Experience modeling and simulations to assess performance and inform decisions.
• Experience planning and executing system testing and analyzing performance data.
• Familiarity with MBSE processes and tools.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
